Trade Deadline Day In NBA, Leafs Make A Trade

Hello sports fans.

Today is trade deadline day in the NBA.

As a result, I have quite a bit of basketball news.

First, though, the Toronto Maple Leafs have made a big trade.

NHL

The Leafs have acquired Jack Campbell, Kyle Clifford from the Los Angeles Kings for Trevor Moore, a third-round pick in 2020, and a conditional third-round pick in 2021.

The Montreal Canadiens have called up Xavier Oulette.

The Canadiens also placed Shea Webber on injured reserve with a lower-body injury.

The New York Islanders have called up Sebastian Aho.

The Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled Matiss Kivlenieke.

NBA

The Minnesota Timberwolves have reportedly acquired D'Angelo Russell from the Golden State Warriors for Andrew Wiggins.

The Philadelphia 76ers have reportedly acquired Glenn Robinson, Alec Burk from the Warriors for a 2020 second-round pick, a 2021 second-round pick, and a 2022 second-round pick.

The Memphis Grizzlies have reportedly signed Dillon Brooks to a three-year, $35 million contract extension.

NFL

After 13 seasons, six-time Pro Bowler, Eric Weddie has retired.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed general manager, Kevin Colbert to a one-year, extension.
