Long time hockey commentator, Don Cherry gets fired.

After 40 years as co-host of Coach's Corner, Don Cherry was fired by Sportsnet in Canada after he made controversial comments about Canadian immigrants on Saturday night.

The Toronto Maple Leaf's Mitch Marner is out for four weeks with an ankle injury.

The Arizona Coyotes have signed general manager, John Chayka to a long-term contract.

The Chicago Blackhawks have signed Alec Regula to a three-year, $897,000 contract.

The Anaheim Ducks have recalled Brendan Guhle.

The St. Louis Blues have signed Toy Brouwers and Jamie McGinn to a professional tryout.

New York Jet's Chris Herndon and Brian Winters are out indefinitely.

Herndon has a rib injury and Winters has a dislocated shoulder.
