Suspensions in the NHL, Mets Make Another Move

Hello sports fans.

Here are the latest headlines.

Today, I have more news about the New York Mets.

First, though, there were two suspensions in the National Hockey League.

NHL

Buffalo Sabre's Jeff Skinner has been suspended three games for cross checking Pittsburgh Penguin's Jake Guentzel on Friday.

Jeff Skinner suspended.

Seattle Kraken's Jaime Oleksiak has also been suspended three games for an illegal hit to the head of Washington Capital's Alexander Alexeyev.

MLB

The New York Mets have signed Brandon Nimmo to an eight-year contract.

The Washington Nationals have signed Trevor Williams to a two-year contract.

That's all I have for today.

Stay safe.
