First, the club has signed Edwin Diaz to a five-year, $102 million contract.

The Mets have picked up Carlos Carrasco's 2023 option.

Also the team has claimed Taylor Saucedo off waivers.

Edmonton Oiler's Evander Kane is expected to be out three to four months with a wrist injury.
