First, the the team lost Johnny Gaudreau to free agency.
Now, the team has traded Matthew Tkachuk to the Florida Panthers.
In return, Calgary gets Jonathan Huberdeau, MacKenzie Weegar, and Cole Schwindt.
Shortly after the trade, Tkachuk signed an eight-year, $76 million contract extension.
