Unfortunately, I start off today with some really sad news.

Ottawa Senator's owner, Eugene Melnuk, passed away on Sunday.  He was 62.

The Minnesota Twins have signed Chris Archer to a one-year contract.  Financial terms were not disclosed.

NFL

The New Orleans Saints have signed Andy Dalton.  Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
