More Trades On Deadline Day

 


Hello sports fans.

Here are the latest headlines.

NHL

As you all know, yesterday was trade deadline day.

Here are just some of the trades that went down.

Andrew Copp is no longer a member of the Winnipeg Jets.

The team traded Copp, a 2023 sixth-round pick to the New York Rangers for Morgan Barron, two conditional second-round picks, and a 2023 fifth-round pick.

The Rangers also acquired Tyler Motte from the Vancouver Canucks for a fourth-round pick.

The Edmonton Oilers have acquired Brett Kulak from the Montreal Canadiens for William Logesson, a conditional second-round pick, and a seventh-round pick in 2024.

The Pittsburgh Penguins have acquired Rickard Rakell from the Anaheim Ducks for Zach Aston-Reese, Dominik Simon, Calle Clang, and a 2022 second-round pick.

The Ottawa Senators have traded Josh Brown, a 2022 seventh-round pick to the Boston Bruins for Zach Senyshn.

The Arizona Coyotes have claimed Harri Sateri off waivers.

NFL

The Indianapolis Colts have acquired Matt Ryan from the Atlanta Falcons for a third-round pick.

Finally, the Falcons also have signed Marcus Mariota to a two-year contract.  Financial terms were not disclosed.
