For the first time in 26 years, Major League Baseball is in a work stoppage.

The owners locked out the players at 12-01 a.m. this morning shortly after the collective bargaining agreement expired.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Cubs signed Marcus Stroman to a three-year, $71 million contract.

Also, the Los Angeles Dodgers signed Chris Taylor to a four- year $60 million contract just before the deadline.
