Montana said that the New England Patriots have made a big mistake.

"I don't understand how New England let him, (Brady), get away," said Montana.

In other NFL news, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have re-signed Ndamukong Suh to a one-year, $8 million contract.

In hockey, the Montreal Canadiens have signed Jesse Ylona to a three-year, entry-level contract.

The Minnesota Wild has signed Hunter Jones also to a three-year, entry-level contract.

On a sad note, Harlem Globetrotter's Fred "Curly" Neal has passed away at age 77.
