Report: Phillies Sign Wheeler

I have quite a bit of NHL news today.

First, I've got a huge signing in baseball.

MLB

It has been reported that the Philadelphia Phillies have signed Zack Wheeler to a huge five-year, $118 million contract.

The Baltimore Orioles have reportedly traded Dylan Bundy to the Los Angeles Angels for Triple-A reliever, Isaac Mattson.

The Atlanta Braves have signed Cole Hamels to a one-year, $18 million contract.

The Boston Red Sox has signed Marco Hernandez and Josh Osich to one-year contracts.

The San Francisco Giants have signed Tyler Anderson to a one-year contract.

NHL

The Edmonton Oilers have recalled Colby Cave and Mikko Koskinen.

The Montreal Canadiens have assigned Gustav Olofsson to the American Hockey League's, (AHL.), Laval Rocket and recalled Otto Leskinen.

The Calgary Flames have assigned Austin Czarnik to the AHL's Stockton Heat.

The Winnipeg Jets have assigned Michael Spacek to the AHL's Manitoba Moose.

Philadelphia Flyer's Michael Raffi is going to miss two weeks with a broken finger.

As a result, the Flyers have recalled Mikhail Vorobyev.

The Buffalo Sabres have assigned Jean-Sebastian Dea to the AHL's Rochester Americans.

The San Jose Sharks have recalled Lean Bergmann and placed Antti Suomela on injured reserve with an upper-body injury.

Minnesota Wild's Jarred Spurgeon is probably going to miss two weeks with an upper-body injury.

Also Mikko Koivu is listed day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

NFL

Finally, the Denver Broncos have placed Derek Wolfe on injured reserve with a dislocated shoulder.
