The St. Louis Cardinals have signed Kwang Hyun Kim to a two-year, $8 million contract.

NHL

The Winnipeg Jets have claimed Eric Comrie off waivers.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have recalled Martin Marincin and Adam Brooks.

Ottawa Senator's Nikita Zaitsev is out two to four weeks after sustaining an injury by blocking a shot.

The Tampa Bay Lightning has assigned Mathieu Joseph to the American Hockey League's Syracuse Crunch.

Calgary Flame's forward, Austin Czarnik, has cleared waivers.

The Columbus Blue Jackets have placed Andrew Peeke on injured reserve with a broken finger and recalled Gabriel Carlson.

NBA

The Toronto Raptors have recalled Dewan Hernandez from G League.

Minnesota Timberwolve's Karl-Anthony Towns is day-to-day with a left knee injury.

NFL

The Oakland Raiders have placed Trent Brown on injured reserve, ending his season.

Finally, the Chicago Bears have placed Danny Trevathan on injured reserve with a left elbow injury.
