The Washington Nationals are headed to their first ever World Series after sweeping the St Louis Cardinals four straight.


Tonight's ALCS game is postponed because of rain.

The Los Angeles Angels have hired Joe Maddon as their new manager.

The Toronto Blue Jays are scheduled to played the New York Yankees next March in Montreal.

NFL



The Los Angeles Rams made two more trades today.

The Rams acquired Jalen Ramsey from Jacksonville Jaguars for first-round picks in 2020, 2021, and a fourth-round pick in 2021.

The Rams also acquired Austin Corbett from the Cleveland Browns for a fifth-round pick in 2021.

The New England Patriots have signed Ben Watson, Eric Tomlinson and released Cody Kessler.

NHL

Finally, Edmonton Oiler's Joakim Nygard is out for two to four weeks with a rib injury.
